S6L stand alone software
 

So now that the S6L is shipping, when can we expect to see the standalone software for it so we can get our heads around it? TIA

Hi,

Like the rest of the VENUE system the Standalone software has gone through some major changes and needs to be fully reviewed and tested before going public. The focus has been on getting the consoles released, and we can now turn our attention to expanding the feature set - which includes the standalone software.

There isn't a date yet, but we know you're keen to check out the standalone software, and we're keen to release it too!

Check your my.avid account, and you should see standalone in there.

So do we need to buy a license for this? As opposed to before where we just could run it?
