When is the new VENUE system being announced?
 

I was just wondering if anyone had any information on when the new VENUE (live sound) system from Digidesign is going to be announced. I was just on the Mackie site and the TT24 is awesome. I am truly hoping that Digi comes with it. They will have to bring it if they are going to compete with the TT24.

I'm very curious as well. Based on the original announcement by Digidesign, the VENUE is/was supposed to be introduced at PLASA - which is happening right now. Any news would be great. Anxiously waiting.

I agree, I can't believe how much they put into it. It seems very well thought out and has everything I would have wanted in it but I bet its gonna be expensive.

Comparing the VENUE product line to the TT24 is like comparing the ICON product line to a D8B...

Digi I am sorry that I doubted you. The VENUE system is totally and completely awesome. I can hardly wait to see this bad boy in action. To everyone at Digidesign, I applaud you (standing ovation).

I'm So glad to know that Digi has completely Debugged ProTools 6.x and that it is working so perfectly, flawlessly, and uncrashable that now Digi has time to concentrate on developing a live mixing console.
