Can get mediaplayer to output sound

I can't get Realplayer or Mediaplayer in my computer to output audio, only video. To hear a CD, I have to load the songs into PTLe (6.4) and play them from there. What can I do?

In Windows Media Player:
Tools_Options_Devices(Highlight "Speakers" then "Properties"_choose Digi 002.
