no sound from monitor or headphone

Last night when I shut everything down, everything was working fine, but this morning there is no sound coming from both the monitors and the headphones. There is signal however. I am running PT 12.5.2 and Mac OSX 10.9.5 and an Apollo 8 interface. I am baffled. Thanks for any advice

I think I resolved it by re-setting the Apollo 8.
