Heat now included in PT & PTU perpetual renewal plans?
 

Can anyone clarify if this is a new thing as IIRC, the inclusion of Heat was only if you were on a subscription plan. Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, which I don't believe I am, it appears to also be included in perpetual license renewals for both PT & PTU.

If so, when was this added? I just checked my iLok and I do not have an asset for Heat and my plan is still current. It's not in the AVID Complete Bundle or as a separate entry.

Anyone know?

Interesting.
I see the same as you, and I also see Heat under PT Ultimate in my account, but only the PDF manual, not the plugin.

Not sure what's happening here....

It is odd. Either it’s a typo on the AVID website or it’s a new addition that hasn’t filtered through.

Anyone else willing to check and see if they’ve got a HEAT asset on their iLok as part of their plan?

Pro Tools standard perpetual, support plan last renewed Feb 2021. No heat licenses hiding out here.

It looks like a new offer & incentive to renew a current support plan to me.
After all, it's November which is when special offers start through prime spending season.

I don't think they made a typo twice by offering HEAT in both PT & PT|Ultimate.
But HEAT would likely only be active as long as the support plan is and is not perpetual.
It's also clear that HEAT is only being granted upon renewal and is not being added to a current support plan.

I renewed my support plan for PT Ultimate today and I now have a HEAT license in my iLok account valid for one year

Is Avid including HEAT and Complete Plugin Bundle for perpetual users?
 

Hi, I just renewed my support for another year, I'm a perpetual license owner and got deposited both HEAT and The Complete Plugin Bundle, which to my knowledge were only bundled with subscriptions.
Is this a thing now or did I just just get lucky? I bought the renewal code from Sweetwater. I double checked and it did not turn into subscription, it still shows as perpetual in both Ilok and Avid's accounts.

They are set to expire in one year. No trial.
