Layout switch - Logic Pro X constantly crashing
 

Hi there, I’ll discover the layout feature in Eucon control for Logic Pro x. If it works it’s super handy for my workflow.. but.. its always crashing while switching thru my layouts.

The logic window immediately closes after pressing a layout button on the dock/tablet app. Also the Eucon app freezes after switching the mixer mode from all to tracks only.

I’ll hope there is a way to fix this? Otherwise there is no way wo work like this with the dock/s1 in logic for now.

If you keep sending to Apple they will see it and hopefully fix.

So there is no solution for this atm? Do you know a workaround to use layouts in logic without crashing?

I’m still testing these units and wanna decide the next days if I keep them because I’m only on Logic Pro X, no pro tools here.

The layout feature is so incredible if..it works.

We are reporting the crash to Apple ourselves, but Apple never give out a date for a fix. They have been pretty active in their EUCON adapter lately.

Thanks Eddie, are Eucon fixes part of the major Logic Pro updates, like Once a year or are there also minor updates in the background like Eucon fixes etc.?

They can be one or the other or both depending on the bug.

I've been constantly sending LPX crash logs with detailed info regarding these Eucon related crashes.
Hopefully we see some action in this area from Apple soon.

Hi there, did someone notice a improvement on the actual Logic Update? or is Eucon still crashing while switching Layouts on Logic Pro 10.7.?
