Hypothetically Asking........
 

OK, so I was wondering on how you would save a neat plugin setting you created if you have problems with your OS X or Pro Tools software.

I have made some neat settings with my Wave Arts Power Suite plugins, and I was curious to how I would need to save those if anything ever happened to OSX or PT. Is there a script setting or a file it saves to?

If you save the settings as a user preset, there should be a tfx file created somewhere on your HD. Usually (but not exclusively) in Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-in Settings.

Once you've located these, simply back-up to your favoured media.
