Missing Files – Auto Find & Relink Potential Bug
When I launch a session that notifies me that there are “Missing Files”, the “Automatically Find & Relink” option when selected cannot locate and relink Missing Files (but they are available), and Task Manager just sets there in an endless search loop. However, if I choose “Skip All”, then PT locates the missing files and relinks them? Is this a real bug – anyone else having this issue? Please advise.

Re: Missing Files – Auto Find & Relink Potential Bug
It's done that as long as I can remember. When I get the Missing Files dialog, the first thing I do, always, regardless of where I think or know the files to be, is press Command+M, Command+R. Then I make sure it finds the missing files correctly. All other methods cause baldness. ;)

What do the Command+M and Command+R commands do?

Re: Missing Files – Auto Find & Relink Potential Bug
They select "Manually Find & Relink", and "Regenerate missing fade files without searching", respectively. Two less mouse clicks means that much longer before Repetitive Stress Syndrome sets in.
