not a word from a moderator ... not an email saysing i cannot express my opinion, nothing, just gone ... not in my list of Threads i started ..

thread was .. "so happy i did not update PT !! as BB would say, the thread Gone Baby !!! and so am i .. wake up Avid, you lost a lot of people !!

so, what on earth was the issue with me stating this ??? anyone Bueller !! i hurt their feelings !!! Avid, you are a big old company .. if you want people to use your products they should be able to express themselves good or bad !!

i was told, this is Technically Not an AVID forum .. was is the truth ... is this Avid site or Not ???

How about looking at all your posts before starting a rant here. Took ~10 seconds to find your post. It looks like it got merged with other complaints.

If that's not it please say so.

Wether that move is good or bad is arguable. Long threads of cogent similar content, including those criticizing Avid, likely add more value/weight here than lots of disparate single posts. Especially because the thread is likely to get added to and remain visible at the top of the New Posts list and Forum sub-sections.

Nothing was deleted. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=406730 was the same basic topic as http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=406098 (with similar replies in each) so they were merged. You are correct, there should have been some notification, so the individual threads have been restored.
