Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
I may be mistaken, but I think I'm right in that there is no shortcut on the keyboard to shunt the Edit window left or right by a screenfull...? I'm forever mousing that by clicking the scroll bar as I don't want auto scrolling of any kind, but need to manually go back and forth. Surely this would be a most useful keyboard shortcut (or pair of shortcuts) to have. Or is it just me?

Re: Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
I use scrollwheel + shift. Works great...IF you have a scrollwheel, of course
Scrollwheel opens things up ALOT imo...wouldn't want to work without it. Scroll left n right, up n down, zoom in and out... |
Re: Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
Press the down arrow and then the right arrow when the playhead goes off screen.

Re: Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
Option+Page Down scrolls to the right, one page at a time.
Option+Page Up scrolls to the left, one page at a time. Works in both Edit and Mixer windows. PS: Just for the heck of it, I tried locating these shortcuts in the “Keyboard Shortcuts Mac” pdf, but couldn’t. Am I missing them or did Digi? IHTH. |
Re: Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
Thanks guys, that all works, although the arrow thing changes the 'play from' point of course. And yes, these aren't in any of the manuals, so that's my excuse for not knowing!

Re: Page Scroll - why no shortcuts
Command Shift with scroll wheel goes left or right, but covers less real estate.
