iLok License Trouble[solved]
 
I have a current Pro tools plan license to activate on my iLock, but I can't do it because I am prompted to surrender a Pro Tools bundle license that has already been surrendered in my iLock account:

Pro Tools Upgrade and Support Plan 2015 (NT) (4)

The Pro Tools Perpetual bundle license that exists on my iLock says:

Release Limit: Versions released on or before 11/08/16


So, I am not able to use PT 12.6.1

My account support is current until 2019. I really don't understand what went wrong.

I have opened a support case #03094496

I'd really like to get this resolved as quickly as possible, so I thought I'd reach out here, too.

This is the best way to solve things like this. Having said that, you could try "Syncing" your iLok in ILM. (iLok License Manager) It seems to solve a lot of ills.

Thanks for the reply Drew,

I was contacted by Avid support regarding my case. No solution yet. The problem isn't with my iLok not syncing properly (I followed the steps in this article).

I have a new Pro Tools Perpetual license in my iLok account that is prompting me to Surrender an old Pro Tools Perpetual license that is not on my iLok. The current Pro Tools Perpetual license that is on my iLok works, but I can't update to any version of Pro Tools after 12.6.0.

It's been couple of days since the reply from Avid regarding my support case.

I know Avid support sometimes works through the DUC to help push along support cases. Can someone help push this along?

Roel was working on your case and it looks like we have resolved the problem. You should be able to run 12.6.1 now with your activated license bundle.

Based on the license revocation and iLok sync that just happened, I am now up and running with 12.6.1., and my issue is resolved.

I am having the identical issue. Nothing has worked for me and I'm awaiting a call back. I really need to get up and running soon. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
