Where are my Instrument Plug Ins?
I am a complete Newbie. Have installed my version of Pro Tools 11, on my Mac Pro - However, when I create a New Instrument Track (or any other compatible type of track) and got to Inserts/Plug Ins/Instruments - I don't see any instruments.
All of the literature states that Pro Tools comes with a selection of Virtual Instrument plug ins - so, where are mine? Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks, Kyle |
Re: Where are my Instrument Plug Ins?
Did you install the Air Creative Collection? That's a separate download and install.

Re: Where are my Instrument Plug Ins?
Hi Brian,
Well, I suspect not - don't remember being prompted to do so, nor do I remember seeing that - so, let me go look - I suppose in my Avid account, to see if that's there hanging around for me!! I'll let you know how I get on, but in any event - than's a million for your help. Kyle |
Re: Where are my Instrument Plug Ins?
Yes it will be in your Avid Account.
Look for AIR Creative Collection 11.1 Installer for PT 11.1+ (Mac) (2.3 GB) If you want the instruments for Pro Tools 10 as well then you need Avid Virtual Instruments 10.3 Installer for Pro Tools 10.x (Mac) (2.72 GB) |
