Pro Tools 10 does not open after installing MBox 2 drivers
Okay, so I just bought my complete setup, including a Macbook Pro 15" running OSX 10.8.2, an MBox3 Pro, and Pro Tools 9, which I successfully updated to 10.3.2. Everything was working perfectly fine at my home setup.
I am currently taking audio engineering in school, and I wanted to hook up to an MBox2 at school, because that is the interface the school has for student use. After I downloaded and installed the drivers (which are only version 9, but supposed to work with 9 and 10), and Protools suddenly ceased to work. I get an error when I try to start the program that says "Pro Tools failed to start" and when I view the report, it mentions that the CFnd needs to be version 10.3.2, but is only version 9. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? |

It sounds like you've over written the Mbox 3 drivers with the MBox 2 drivers. Proably the easiest way to fix it would be to uninstall 10.3.2 and then re-install it.

Yes, but before I installed it, the MBox2 would not power on when connected to my computer. Is there any way to do that, or do I just have to wait for a version 10 update?
