Grid Value shortcut not working
 

Hi folks,

ctrl option +/- does not want to change the grid value.

alt option +/- is working fine for nudge value.

Can anyone help??

I usually just Option-click the desktop in the lower left corner of the screen to switch to Finder. When I go back to PT, the shortcuts are back. For me, it's often Option-A that stops working.

Thanks for your reply but that hasn't solved it unfortunately

I see. Actually, it came out wrong before. Option-click to reveal Finder, then click somewhere on the desktop, and then switch back to PT.

In case you have the midi edit "piano roll" window open, make sure you have the window that you want "active". The active section will have a yellow outline around the controls at the top. If the midi portion of the window is active, those grid and nudge value indicators in the normal part of the edit window won't respond.

midi editor window not open so that isn't it :(

nudge value shortcut does work as well.

have even tried a different keyboard with the same result

Shortcuts seem to get lost when there is a plugin open, like RX through audiosuite.

Command Tab, then command tab again will switch between apps, and its back.
Most the time you can see the a-z on the region window is not yellow.

Command-tab works, but yesterday my producer lost tab to transient - there was a Waves plug open. I came over and hit 'esc' then all the little shortcuts worked again :)

Yes pesky waves often steals keyboard focus. To the OP - is it possible you have toggled the entire grid off (click the word grid in the grid/nudge display) and this is why your KCs look like they're not working?

No luck with any of them unfortunately, looks like it might have to be a re-install...
