Wavedriver Support Needed - No Playback

Howdy folks. For the longest time I used the Wavedriver (6.1.1) - iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. all running through the 001. Then last year, for a stupid reason, I decided to start using my internal sound module (onboard) for general listening use (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.); however, I kept the Wavedriver (and Rail's app.) installed just in case. Well now, "in case" has happened and I have ditched my internal sound module (actually disabling it in the CMOS). I've added iTunes and Windows Media Player to Rail's app. list, but still no go - both iTunes and Windows Media Player (as well as Quicktime and Internet Explorer) fail to playback. I've tried reinstalling the Wavedriver, restarting, etc. . . . still a no go. When I go to Control Panel -> Sounds/Audio, there isn't even an option for the Digidesign 001 *except* for MIDI playback. All of the other audio device selections only show my 56k modem. Strange, eh?

Any advice?

Thanks,

rockrev

BTW - My 001 is working just fine with PT 6.4 and any application that recognizes the ASIO driver.

I'm having a similar problem. I can't get audio to play back through my spdif output to my monitoring (dac1-> power amp--> monitors). I do get audio from outputs 1-2, i.e. the headphone out of the digi 001.

Have you tried reinstalling PT? What version are you using? I havne't been able to get any kind of playback from the 001 outside of PT (at least with my spidf) since I upgraded to 6.4. Try reinstalling and see if it works.
