WIN 7 - 64bit HELP
 

hey i'm wondering pt10 say its support "win 7 64 bit" but how it is realy becouse i been tryng to intsall on it but it didint let me and i dont why so now im worys to buy a pc 64bit does someome advise my please. thanks

Pro Tools has worked on Windows 7 64 bit since 8.0.4. The install requires a few extra details you may have missed, so run the uninstaller and start clean. Install the driver for your audio interface first. Next, review the system tweaks and make sure they are all done as required. Then, run the Pro Tools installer as Admin(this is a MUST). Once the installer is done and the system reboots, right-click on the PT icon and select the Compatibility tab. Check the boxes for Disable Desktop Composition, diasable desktop themes, and Always Run as Admin. Get your iLok together too. Make sure the iLok driver is installed and the iLok is seen by Windows, and make sure the license is actually ON the iLok. Cross your fingers and give it a go:D
