Focusrite 18i20 Pre amp with a Rode K2 and Nt1a microphone
 

Hey guys once again apologize for my noobness :o for randomly posting in different forums, I'm getting the hang of it though. I wanted to know if the above mentioned is a good choice of set up? Would i get a good sound in general..as iv never used the focusrite with these microphones. Any views..?

I have an 18i20 and a R0DE NT2A. I think you will be please with the sound from either mic and the Scarlett 18i20.

What do you want to record? Choose the appropriate mics for your specific needs.

In that case, I would get 1 condenser(and the K2 is a fine choice) and a classic VO mic like the EV RE-20 or Shure Sm-7B. If that's a bit too much money, go for a less expensive LDC(swap the K2 for an MXL V-89), unless you just GOTTA have the extra patterns:o
