there's a posting at ProSoundWeb.com hinting that there will be a new addition to the VENUE family announced at the PLASA show in a couple of weeks?

any tidbits that could be shared in advance of the show?

even generalities would be fine (i.e. - "we are aiming at taking down the Yamaha PM5D")

Sorry guys,

New product to ensure Digi world domination, not a specific upgrade to Venue. Rumours fly fast and frequent when you're 20 miles from the factory and someone who works on hardware designs for Digi attends your church!

If you get Live Sound, there is an ad in the September issue. The electronic edition went online on Friday.

It appears LiveSound is ahead of Digi. Digi's site has no info on Profile or DShow 2.5. What gives?
