Cannot navigate folders in Import Audio window by double-clicking them in 2021.3
 

I have noticed that I cannot navigate folders in the Import Audio window by double-clicking them. An inconvenience.

Same here... hahaha, what's that?
I just tried to import some audio, but I can't navigate to my folders. Hot fix needed asap.

I am on Mojave.

Mojave. 10.14.6. Native version of ProTools, operating on local files on disk. I also have to click "open" twice.

So you are sure that PT on Mojave is not broken? I am working with PT since version 4.x and I know the troubleshooting procedures. But I can't imagine that this has something to do with AAE prefs or something like that. Would be great to know if this is really not a simple bug on Mojave, then I don't have to start all this delete prefs and database stuff.

btw, I think the problem is the Import Audio dialog only.

In the reademe Avid says that there are some changes in the dialog (shortcuts) for BS compatibility.

However, it would be interesting if there is someone on Mojave and could test the browsing issue. Maybe this is just a side effect of the changes that was not found in test.
Expanding folders seems to work (good workaround), only double clicking on a folder does not work anymore. And I have the "open twice" issue as well.

Can't navigate through folders on Import Audio window by clicking as before

Workarounds: drag folder or file from Finder onto Import Audio window to access, or if arrow to folder is visible in Import Audio window can open the folder there and select file.

yes an annoying bug to fix please!

Oh my god. Same here, on Mojave. Just checked! That's very annoying.

And here I thought it was because I'm using an unsupported operating system - High Sierra.
