There was some suggestion however that some users had got Xpand2 working in 7.4, did I dream that or can someone confirm.

Yes it does. you need to purchase and run the PT8 installer!! for people who have a dual boot system. pt8 and pt7 you can copy the creative collection folder from pt8 install into the pt7 folder on your system drive/digidesign then copy the plugins from the pt8 install plugins folder to the pt7 plugins folder.

Where do you put the files from the download to get Xpand to seem them. I droped them in the Xpand folder with the file called Large or Big, and they never showed up inside my Plugin.

Any help?

Nick,

Put the whole folder, Xpan2patches, into the Xpand2 folder inside the Plug-In Settings folder:

Windows:
Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-in Settings

Mac:
Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-in Settings

Everyone's probably figured this out by now, but in case not - These patches become a lot more accessible when the individual patches are copied into the existing Expand2 instrument category folders. Then they will be sorted in the same manner as the patches supplied with pro tools.
