D-Control Probs
 

Hi,
My D-Control seems to be stuck in Dim mode?
I have to have the main monitor knob all the way up to zero just to compensate.
Any ideas.

You can, as a temporary fix, turn the Dim Level to zero, then the monitoring level knob will be at its nominal setting.

Can you switch monitoring sources etc? Is the D-Control otherwise happy with comms to the X-Mon? LED flashing on the X-Mon?

You can try resetting the X-Mon and re-downloading the software to it: hold the Mute button on the X-Mon as you power it up then on the D-Control if you go into the firmware version pages I think it is, you can update the firmware from the factory flash backup.

HI Peter,
Yes that's what I'm doing, having the Dim level set to 0.
Comms with the X-MON seem OK.
Lights flashing etc.
Will maybe try the reset thing.

Hi Peter,
I tried holding the mute button down on the X-MON.
The behaviour is the same.
Also both the talkback buttons stay on permanently.

Hi Peter,
thanks for all your tips.
You led me to thinking about the reset thing.
I simply went into the Utility menu on the D-Control and pressed reset.
That solved issue.
