WTB iZotope RX 1.21
 

Setting up a home system away from my studio for audio editorial with an older Pro Tools and Mac set-up:

Dual 2 GHz PPC G5
OSX 10.4.11
PT HD 7.4cs10

System runs great, have Waves 7 bundles, but cannot get iZotope to sell me a legacy license - they will only sell the updated RX 2 Noise reduction software. Looking for an iLok transfer for iZotope RX 1.21. It's the best version of this plug-in that will work for this set-up.

I even downloaded the legacy demo off of their own site... but they just won't sell it to me. Hoping one of you will!

Much thanks to mgoorevich for trying so hard to help me out with this. iZotope has made it very difficult -- nearly impossible -- to do a license transfer on the legacy plug-in without penalizing one side or the other.

In this case, since mgoorevich had used that license for an upgrade, iZotope's transfer policy would only allow that if he were to transfer the earlier version to me, it would ALSO transfer his updated version, resulting in a new version needing to be purchased for his machine. However, this new version would not be allowed to be transferred to other users ever again in the future. A very strange caveat to me, since iZotope wouldn't be losing ANY money on the deal.

So, what I am looking for is a user who has iZotope RX 1.21 and has not upgraded from there at all - that is willing to sell their license to me.
