Importing audio from Quick Time

OK... I got a QT movie in my session, but when I tried to import its audio, I just get a bunch of noise and a very strange wave form. It seems that the conversion is not well done.

I'm also using Digital Performer and it extracts the audio perfectly...

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have Quicktime Pro? Is so, I would try exporting the audio in QT to an AIFF file, then importing that into PT. Not sure if that will solve it, but it's a thought.

Hi Kerry!

I do have QT pro. I also can import the audio files into my session when they are converted by Digital Performer. I just want to know what's wrong with pro-tools o what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you for replying!
