Artist Mix Power button stopped working but still registers in test mode
 

Hi All,

The power button on my Artist mix seems to have stopped working. When i plug the unit in it powers on and functions but if i press the power button to turn it off, it loses connection with the Eucon app and the DAW but the power stays on. I've also noticed that if i go into test mode the button registers when pressed. Any ideas on a fix for this?

The power button is actually a soft power button. It talks to the software, disconnects from EuControl and then sleeps the unit(or its supposed too). What do you see on the OLED's when you try and shut it down and does it disconnect from EuControl?

The screen still has track names displyed but the unit disconnects from Eucon. If i press the power button again it doesn't reconnect to Eucon. I can only get it to reconnect if i turn th epower off and on again.

That sounds like the firmware is crashing. Is the firmware uptodate ?

It is yes, version 1.5.6. I tried a forced update just in case it was corrupt and and it still does the same thing

The only other thing to try is another power supply, if that doesn't help, I suspect it's a hardware fault.
