Jeezus - I can't believe the level of musicianship that's floating around on this board. Keny - "Stride" is pure kickass instrumental guitar as good as gets. Roy, your stuff is beautiful. Peter - The first time I listened to "Over and Over", I thought it was a little too esoteric. Now I can't stop listening to it. Incredible. Cinemafixer - "Shelter" is pro all the way. I hear roots of Van Morrison, Paul Brady, and other great balladeers all flavored with your own interesting style.

Now I gotta ask everyone here - given the quality of stuff we're listening to here - why is the radio filled with such utter crap?????? Every time I go into a CD store, I stare at the bins for a half an hour and come home empty handed. Thank god for independent musicians with brains, chops and talent!! I wish you all success.

By the way, I have a bunch of stuff for you to listen to, but I'm just learning the ropes on posting MP3's. As soon as I've got it up, I'll post it here.

Especially Galactic Storm and Goldfish I like to recommend. I know it's not even close to the melodic stuff I heard from Roy and others, but that's just a matter of genre. In it's own way, it's got it's own appeal. I'd like the technolovers to take notice of some of my workouts.

This is from a local band named Vertigo that I recorded here in Sioux Falls, SD earlier this year (I think it was in April).

Actually, I have no control over the encoding as the it is on the band's website. I noticed the glitches but overall, I didn't think it was too bad. The CD sounds much better though. I would really like to put some of my more recent stuff up as I think it sounds much better, but unfortunately, none of it is on the net yet.

I finally got a chance to listen to the new stuff. My favorite of the 3 would have to be 'Slow Grind'. I would not have expected those horns on 'Junior Varsity', but that's what made it unique. Overall engineering is excellent, in my opinion. I commend you.

Hey peoples, Thanks for all the kind words. I just finished putting up a bunch of 001 mixes from different bands. Check out Nefrit El-or (Chick Singer) the vocals are a little compressed, but everything else seems fine.

I don't want to sound like I say this to everybody, but I love your music! I listened to Taurus first, because I wanted to hear something you did everything on. I love the chords, the progression going on... Then I listened to 'Tinted Windows', and was just as impressed... cool, clean sounds, one and all..... And the guitar sounds (and vocals) in Lo and Behold are great. Good overall production, too. Good creative stuff, thank goodness!
Oh, and yes, I'm thinking of changing my name to 'Moonbeam'.(hehe) Thanks very much for the complements.

Roy, Ijahru and 8MM - thanks for the nice comments - Glad you like my stuff. Compliments from people like you carry serious weight. I just posted "Judging By Appearances" which consists of drums, bass and 8 acoustic guitar tracks! Talk about going hog wild with an idea.
