Drums are recorded at local small studio with studio's drummer, all other is home work and me. First mix is made with Mr Spliff and after that I have tooled it 2 nights just by myself. Be nice and tell how improve my future works. Specially drums. (And I know my singing, don't tell me that.)

Song is called Ennustus (prophecy) and story line is that terrorism causes hate. If there is no other solution to stop it, we need traditional European one: gaschamber and massgrave.
This song is a horror picture of future.

yeah the DUCthang is really cool.

Got a simpleguitarpiece with some rebellious lyrics, bitty too much to really publish but I was in a funny mood and I decided to keep it as it is for now.

alright guys, check out these tunes i'm working on. I'd like to get some feedback before I progress. This is from a project that I'm working on for a local band. He has about 16 tunes or so, of which I think there is some really good material. He deosn't sing the best, so tuning these tracks is kinda tough. This is my first rough mix, he hasn't even heard it yet. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Hi Doyle...
First, you yourself have done a very good job with this guy. Nice engineering job, IMO....and I actually like his 'imperfect' voice...I prefer personality over perfect pitch any day. But the guitars definitely need to be tuned better in general, especially on 'It's Alright'. Overall they're flat, so I would suggest that he 'check tuning' before each take.
Song 2, 'Fell into your arms', needs something to break the monotony of those guitars...your piano helps(nice job), but the second half of the songs needs something to refresh it. That and some timing issues overall, perhaps especially with the hat in the 'stop parts'.

Just my thoughts after listening one time...again, you yourself are doing a great job.

"Porno Nation" - What can I say. Payback time. That's why the internet was invented. Wasnt it?

"Beautiful Scars" - A rocker with a shuffle.

"Satellite" - Another rocker and a personal fave with about 7 different versions until this one was reached. And you'll be surprised what it was recorded on.

"Won't hurt" - Another, "What can I say". How to get laid, "Tom Leykis" style. "Blow me up Tom!"


And a few awards of merit. The boys are doin' well.

Roy, thanks for checking them out. You get so involved in them that you lose reality. I actually talked to him about re-tracking the 12 string gtr part in It's Alright. Hopefully that will help some. He liked the piano part and had a guy add some other piano thing too. HE also added a string patch, but I'm not sure about it.

Yeah, there is something about his voice that I like also. there are just some pitch things that drive me crazy in some spots.

I like it but I would put the guitar up front more. i had a hard time following the structure until the vox came in. It reminds me of my buddies banjo playing. Banjo stuff

Ok.. a little heavy side of things
 

A tune that a drummer and myself have been working on. No vocals yet. Any takers?

I did the guitars and bass (bought a bass for 150 bucks just for recording and boy oh boy...that is quite different from a guitar:-)

The tune isnt polished by any means and I still need to tweak the gates on the toms and other misc. stuff but oh well...fun either way

madcow...I like it...very tight overall and excellent presence. I like the guitar sound....you and the drummer play well together. If and when you find a vocalist, repost it. Good job so far.

we'd track the drums etc, then stu would edit drums at home on his LE.. overdub stuff
later on the HD system.... in terms of end product,, nearly there hopefully. So have a listen
