Which version of the ASIO driver are you running? How big a session, how many plug-ins?

Re: Nuendo 2 with Asio driver! HELP!
Hi! Saw the bumps, so I figured I would post a semi-answer...
I had N2 installed until a recent re-install of XP and everything else. I was using N2 for checking out VST's, VSTi's, etc, and was doing a comparison (for myself) of N2 vs PT. I actually had over 100 individual mono tracks of audio goin, bunch of plug-ins, highest (1024) HW setting. A bit extreme, but hey, wanted to see what I could push it to, like the Davec test. Could easily do over 32 tracks at lower HW settings (256 is my usual starting point, low enough most of the time) using the 6.1 ASIO drivers with a 001. I have not re-installed N2 yet (gotta remember where I put my N2 cd ). I think I tweaked some settings in N2, once I reinstall I will post what I did. Should have it reinstalled sometime on the next few hours. |
Re: Nuendo 2 with Asio driver! HELP!
Hi!
OK- all reinstalled. Tried out a 36 track session in N2 (ver 2.1, ASIO drivers for 001 from 6.1), HW set at 256. Smooth as silk. A bit more detail on system, check driver versions, N2 ver, and things Rail asked about. |
