Should the 2nd Video card go in Slot 2, and the HDX card in Slot 3?

Or HDX in 2, second vid card in 3?

Not sure what you mean by cross linking... if you mean are there any physical connections between the two, no.

some video card can link through the PCI Bus to share the loads, popular with gamers
