Cracked me up. Really, I laughed out loud at

'Cos I know it all:
You could nail my [bleep] to the wall'

Priceless stuff. Got any more???

Less about me.. I just went to your page and you my friend have some modesty issues! I love your stuff, nicely understated, very subtle orchestrations in the background, lovely guitar, a cool singing voice, well recorded, I take my hat off to you! (Fave track was Clumsy Metaphors)

I have more at my MP3 site listed in my sig. feel free to leave abuse on my msg board, no-one else does

Hello Again,

I have just finished my first big project of mixing a live band, its a cover of a country song "I love this Bar" by Toby Keith. This was recorded at school and mixed at home on the digi002. Like I said this is my first time mixing a full band and vocals, so I'm anxious to see what you guys have to say about the mix and where I can improve at. To my ears it sounds good but Im not as trained as most of you are. So Please comment and lend me your ears and experience.

Thanks guys, off to work I go and will try to check this later on tonight.

Eddie,

Very nice recording job. Mix is pretty darn good. The guitar seems a little low in the mix, but not too bad.

Vocals seem a little dry tho.

Other than that, can't think of too much off my head that really sticks out at me. Great job!

Here's an old one taken live from a cassette recording from an old band of mine in Atlanta - CROXITY- and EQ'd in ProTools.

A minor Jam recorded at The Metroplex around 1990.

Chris Cavell,
I finally heard 'moment'...in the first place, it's a great song...great chords and bass line...but, also the singer kills on it. I love the guy's voice and range. (I'de love for him to sing something of mine)...And of course, great mix on your part. Looking forward to us doing something else very soon. As a matter of fact, I'm finally finishing up 'Fa's Garden' (which already has Paul Curtiz's fine vocals on it).
Great job on 'moment'...
-Roy

Roy,

Thanks for the compliments Roy...yeah, I really dig the vocalist too. Sort of a kindred spirit of mine I think. The guy rocks! I'll mention a possible collab experiment next time I see him. Unfortunately (I don't know, maybe fortunately, only time will tell...) the band is extraordinarily perfectionist about vocals and really bust his chops at times. I think his natural style is incredible and very pleasing to the ear, but they won't settle for anything less than an absolutely perfect vocal take in their minds...very little room for artistic freedom on his part, and they're unsatisfied with the current vocal takes. So they will eventually be replaced.

Look forward to Fa's Garden ,
Chris
