How long will I have to use a diffrerent DAWs to record MIDI ?

Hi Digi !
I don't remember how many times I've posted about this issue, but it seems to me like there is still no solution to this problem : sustain pedal drops during recording MIDI in Pro Tools.
I realize that by now you are probably sick and tired of me constantly demanding an answer. The thing is that myself ( and hundreds of other PT users) have been dealing with this annoying situation for years. Many of us are forced to use different DAWs just to record MIDI tracks, and import them back into PT.
It happens ONLY during recording. On the play back everything is fine.
But recording, especially piano, it's next to impossible in PT. Sorry to say.
The problem happens strictly within software. It has nothing to do with what kind of hardware we use : controller or pedal...
To solve this sustain pedal problem you need to analyze, how the digital binary information of the parameter 64 is recorded. I'm absolutely convinced, that during recording MIDI (or instrument) track, the sustain pedal "on" message gets written, but sometimes - randomly - the "off" message is generated by the program itself ! It gets transmitted back to the sound source and cuts off the sound, even though the sustain pedal has still not been released yet. That's what's happening !!!
It happens both to the software and hardware synths.
I just want to hear once and for all from Digi : is there a possible solution to this issue ? If not, please admit, that the problem is NOT really fixable - and than we will at least know, instead of counting on a fix, that didn't happen for years.

Yeah... +1!!!!!!!

This fxxxxx Problem lasts for so long....no help in sight...and a lot of guys, so itīs not an individual problem of "one" setup....

Itīs ridiculous for such a great software and company.....!!!!! Sorry

And itīs also on HD Systems, not just on native ones!!!

Upgraded my Cubase to version 5 because I can't take the sloppy buggy midi design anymore.

Not leaving PT8. Just sad I cannot depend on it for everything like I thought I would be able to.

 how does the standard become substandard so quick?

I've never had that problem---curious to know what you're using. Are others having this same issue repeatedly?

I use nothing "special"... MacPro, Unitor 8, 2 AMT 8 connected via USB, divers Synths, Sampler, Virtual Instruments...itīs all the same...doesnīt matter, which system was used... also no special masterkeyboard, itīs on every controller I use... and weird, just at recording, at playalong, everythingīs cool....

So it's definitely a bug then. I wonder if I've encountered it and just didn't realize? Hmmmm

Yepp, it looks so...I tried also with completely fresh system, no other plugIns installed...always the same...Thought also about to buy new MIDI Interfaces...but the bug is also at users, who donīt use Unitor etc... Yes itīs really strange....and ridiculous, that they canīt get rid of it.... When you look thru the hole DUC, a lot of guys have it....since months....no years...
