Yeah, thanks for the feedback. I think I'll actually end up re-tracking it. I worked on it so much over the weekend that I eventually just didn't trust my ears, so I'll sit with it a week or two and probably re-track.

Hi everyone. I purchased a Digi 002 rack and a Dell Inspiron Laptop last november. I thought I would post a link to one of my songs that I'm fairly proud of called "Foreign Sky". The song is very personal to me, but I wanted to share how it came out. I dont think I'm really done with it yet, as I would still like to add some orchestral percussion. It is the first song I have ever sang on. I'm not too sure of the mix either-

Very good production. Nice catchy piano loop with a great sound, plug over voice sample sounds great as well, overall balance worked out well also. Not my genre, but this is hit potential imo.

Hey Gene Just listened to your track, cool stuff, I was surprised no Emma made it onto the track? Or are these computer speakers decieving me? Regardless, its a real peaceful track, a bit on the depressing side, no? But thats what I like.

You are right, no Emma. She decided that she needed a vacation.

It was an lesson in MIDI. In addition to the synth, there are 2 guitar tracks, the middle theme and the acoustic part.

Yeah, it was cool and quiet, very nice. So Gene, what were your expirements in MIDI? Just getting it up and running? What equipment do you have?
