Hey guys! I've been MIA from the DUC for a bit because my label just signed a new artist that you absolutely MUST hear. Her name is Lila Rose and she has a debut album coming out January 10th.

If you like Imogen Heap, Florence + The Machine, Emiliana Torrini or Fever Ray (or anything in that genre), you're gonna love this.

You can check out her website and download a teaser track, 'Obsession', at:

I'm eyeball deep in promoting this right now and, if you have suggestions for anyone that should hear this, please shoot me a message at: comments [at] rtfmrecords [dot] com. We're always looking to expand our network.

Thanks for listening - you won't be disappointed!

I like! Thanks for head's up! I'll be buying this one for sure. I like this style of music a lot. ;)

I just recorded and mixed this over the weekend... used Virtual Instruments for all the music such as Vacuum/XPand2, waves guitar3 for the guitar, a JBL RTA mic for vocals and a cheap M-Audio fastrack preamp (my small portable rig). I played and sang everything you hear including all the background vocals.

Just finished mixing and mastering this, with loads of advice from people on here. If people would like to listen and give some contructive critism that would be much apprciated. Its a heavy metal track Called Haze

thank you to all

Hey that's pretty good :-) Only thing, do you have any bass traps in your studios? I think your over compensating for the bass, as when I listen to the song, there a lack of low in the kick, toms and the bass guitar. I've listened it on 4 different system and it's the same everywhere.

Overall though, I like it very much :-)

Thanks Emcha_audio. When I listen in the studio I always think I've got way to much bass. I take it this must be down to the fact I ain't got any bass traps. If I purchase some of these will I find it improves my mixes a lot

Once again thanks for listening
