It's now past 2:45am and I just handed off the final master to Katie. We made some great final revisions and the disc is absolutely killer, (IMHO of course).

She's the lead singer/songwriter for a band called Newcomers Home and this is her first solo album...so we didn't want to throw the kitchen sink at it with another full backup band, so the album is primarily rooted in vocals and acoustic guitar...but that didn't keep most sessions from stretching to the 32-track PTLE limit (can you say Audio Suite and voiceable tracks?...I sure can.)

Siberian- Shadows sounds great especially considering how you recorded. Everything is well defined and has its own space. Is there bass guitar in there or just synth bass...ok i hear it at the end. Maybe bring it up a little. Of course, i'm listening through headphones so it might be the cans. Overall, very nice mix.

Actually, there is a bass guitar throughout the entire track. You can really hear it in the beginning during the intro.

Nice track. You guys play very tight.
I thought the drums were maybe a touch big (can tell you're a drummer ), and the vocal could come up a bit.

'Shadows' is a cool piece...powerful core to it. Great job working with the tracks you had, and excellent job on the drums. Are you planning on re-recording these in better conditions?
