Collaboration issue - missing name
 

Hi,

Anybody know what it means when somebody's name is missing in the Artist Chat window? See image. They have joined the project, received my tracks, added their tracks, but they can't upload. In the image, the name is missing and the person can't send me what they have added to the project.

When the name is there, for another person, they can send their tracks just fine.

Any ideas as to what that missing name means?

Guessing as I never use Collaboration. One of you needs to log back in? Sadly, this feature has not worked nearly as well as any of us wish. Most of us either share the session over Dropbox(or similar) or just send a 2-mix for the other party to record now audio to fit(always bounce from zero in the timeline and share the session tempo makes this option almost bulletproof).

I have had good results with PT Vanilla but a total fail with Pro Tools First. They just don’t seem to work well with each other. If you happen to be using the free version of this could be one of the reasons.
