Somewhat pointless, but with 3 weeks left to go, I just wanna talk about upgrades.

What's the first thing you want to try on the new Expansion Pack?

Me? Super Reverb and DC-30

the only guitar amp i care about in the ERXP is the XTC. so that will be first. then mess with the new p-eq, then plug my bass in, then the rest when i get around to it.

Actually, I intend to try the XTC with some speaker breakup, stereo delay, studio quality compressor at the end of the chain (so I can roll off on the volume knob to go from clean to scream but maintain volume) and a parametric EQ post-amp if necessary. That ought to make for a fun couple of hours :)

XTC blue, then the JTM45, then the Super Reverb, then Matchless.

Not that I've given it a lot of thought. :D

I'm excited too! And not too many people in my musical circle have one of these so no one to share the excitment with!

I don't think there is a stupid question when it comes to the complexities of music and technology melding. Unless the answer is "....have you tried plugging it in yet?"
