Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
Here are a couple tune's I have done. They are short and still work in progress. I usually only do radio and commercial production but every now and then I try to do a couple tunes for the he** of it. I have only recorded a few songs in my life so don't laugh!
Drums and bass were done with Sampletank free (and I hardly know what I'm doing with midi) and the electric guitars were run through the Amplitude demo. Ha Ha. Guess it's a good thing I'm not donig music professionally. But damn it is fun to do every now and then. Would love your opinions! Funkalicious |

Hello all !
Yet another transatlantic collaboration : http://twanglab.netstudio.be/audio/MaryJane.mp3 - Chris aka FunkyD (Philadelphia, US) on drums - Roy Howell (Memphis, US) on lead guitars - Paul Curtiz (Brussels, Belgium) on guitars, bass and vocals. At the end of the track, you will experience the first "virtual band" studio crisis between three people who have never been in the same room... My nose still hurts, but he won't use that slide anytime soon... |

Steevp -
That is a beautious tune, my friend. Very imaginative, with styles reminscent of two of my all time most respected bands - Beatles and XTC! Fantastic. Yes, the overall feel is a little demo-ish, but there is great strength in both the songwriting and the arrangement. Some of us have gotten pretty good at engineering our recordings, but if you had to choose the most important skills for any musician - which would they be? |

Chris, Roy, Paul -
I was expecting superb and I got superb. I'm not sure what else I can say about how good your stuff is - it started off great and just keeps getting better and better. Funky D - nice drums. You're a fine edition to the family of collaborators. I hope we can hear some more from you. The end was a riot. |

Paul and Chris...
So that's what you guys were up to after I 'left the studio'... ... I'm still laughing... Hey, it's a pleasure playing with pros like you guys... Chris was right in the pocket from the get-go, a true professional(and I especially want to thank you for popping Paul for me... ) and Paul... I've always got a spare slide, my friend...hehe... looking forward to our next one... Great song, Paul... ~Roy |

Steev - I think the turkeys would be more likely to enjoy "grouse". Especially on Christmas.
