Automatically logged out from DUC
 

I have to log in here every other minute.
A bit annoying eg when you’re writing a post.
Anybody else see this behaviour?
(Safari 13.1.2, macOS 10.13.6)

Do you have any kind of additional firewall/ad blocker on your browser?

When you login do you check the 'remember me' box? I do and that keeps me logged in even when I quit Firefox latest version. I hate Safari and refuse to use it unless absolutely necessary because some sites don't like FF (iZotope for one).

For the record, I hate having to use passwords. I wish there was a better way!



I've had times when I couldn't log in here at all. Kept telling me my PW was incorrect, even though it wasn't. The support here fixed it for me twice already over the past few months.

Do what I and others do - don't logout at all. I never do. Use the 'remember me' once and be done with it.



Thumb print or facial recognition but other than that some kind of authentication for posting on a forum is a necessity. What I don't like are forums that require one to be a member before you can even just read posts.

I have this happen on one of my computers, just the one. So I don't think it is a DUC specific issue.

Haven't figured it out, but it isn't the computer I use the DUC regularly on to have cared :)

No, nothing that I know about.
I’m using 1Password and Safari, gonna try another browser.

Trying Firefox in stead of Safari.
When logging in using 1Password, I get this message:
”This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised.”

As adviced, I made sure the DUC URL started with https:// - let’s see if this works.
(Also, keeping the ”Remember Me?” checked.)

And make sure the browser is not set to delete cookies on closing:o

So far it works fine with Firefox, but I still get this warning about the site/connection not being secure.
