Hi,
Here’s my second side project. The single is out now This project is from the 90s, We add some new material and I did a little remix. And the language is a bit exotic, it’s Swahili this time ( the previous single “AGHTUNG!” was German). Links to Spotify, Apple Music etc. https://ffm.to/bv7r6mw Video of the recordings. https://youtu.be/bnC8hfIsPVQ |

I liked this melancholy dreaming tone. Clean and clarified.

Released a piano version of our older songs. First time composing music like this for a song. (I'm mainly a drummer but dabble a bit on piano)

Visiting the bird sanctuary in Matsalu.
Matsalus 15. ja 16. mail 2024 SoundCloud: https://on.soundcloud.com/hTYNyFHirHsVc8hd9 I am including the translation of our conversation into English, as it is an important part of this story: Quote Piret: "So this is the sprat fillet from this morning, taken right here from the harbor - we don't catch the sprat ourselves because we don't have it in the sprat box. We catch fish with a net and..." Urmas (guest): "Do you catch them yourselves?" Piret: "Yes, I am a certified coastal fisherwoman, I have been one for four years now. At the end of May, I should also get my small craft operator’s license. These traditions are important to me; I learn it from my father, but it is very difficult. The theory is very easy, but the practice - it is complicated and hard. That's how it is; we bring all the fish for our house ourselves!" Urmas (guest): "I noticed that the horses were very cool! I didn't expect them to come right under my window!" Piret: "Yes, they always come! Right now I have locked them up because I have to be at work here, so they are safely there. But, well, tomorrow at nine o'clock you can set your watch by them, they will come out of the yard." Urmas (guest): "They could have made a bit of noise, they are so quiet, like completely...!" Piret: "They actually make noise when I whistle somewhere. Because I have trained them to respond to the whistle." Urmas (guest): "So they start making noise... neighing, when you whistle." Piret: "Usually, I don't know, people are different and I have trained them to the whistle. Sometimes it happens that I actually call like for dogs, but then I whistle, and from somewhere far away, Lika neighs back at me because she thinks I’m calling her, but actually, I’m calling my dog Luise. The same way, with a whistle!" Urmas (guest): "Very cool!" Piret: "Enjoy your meal!" Urmas (guest): "Thank you!" |

Released a new song as well as our first music video!
First time editing video especially with green screen so it’s not perfect by any means, but learned a lot and it was a fun experience. Megalomaniac (Official Music Video) https://youtu.be/eI18oOsa3uI |

Just put out a new one, about to work on a music video for it. (Think True Crime, serial killer feel)
First time adding synths/electronic drum parts in certain sections. https://youtu.be/J2dtdF3cVYY?si=SHsoGsHzfT9De2oi |

Another great piece of writing and music.
Dig the bass tone. Has the Geddy Lee crunch vibe. Thanks for sharing.;) |

Here is my main band's new video. I was one of the composers, also recording, mixing and mastering. The language is Finnish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l_BsWhslkY

Ambient/Minimalist music score, created for a video presentation of modern artwork. Written in Pro Tools using VI's plus sfx elements. The track is called "What is Art? What is Music?". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L-45FdKNyo&t=37s

Great production and mixing. Video is great, although disturbing (LOL), but I don't understand the words. ;) |

The opening 3 paragraphs are the backstory of the artwork. Each piece has a unique title. The "Table of Concepts" (note: video chapter markers) lists the titles - i.e. concepts - presented in the video. Minimalism, Conceptual, and Abstract Art. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L-45FdKNyo&t=40s |

Scroll down for samples if you like some good ol' rock and roll. The recording took place in my Nashville studio in 2019 but took a while to get released(a few weeks ago). Crazy business:o |

I'm strictly a live demo guy. With some embellishments I will throw in for clients. Basically do it for bands bar gigs. I recorded this band who only formed I believe a month prior. Cut their demos and within a couple of weeks they were already getting good gigs. Shortly after they opened up for Scott Weiland right before his demise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I09aLmQQbm0 |

My most recent work is located here, and it was put together with the help of Pro Tools. To encourage the animals, the owner simply called out to them, but the calls have been edited out, and then nine pieces were combined in the correct order using Pro Tools. Another interesting incident happened, as this was my first time using this windscreen, and I immediately made a mistake by pointing the microphone towards the animals backwards!
Still, even after all this time, I don’t want to leave the recording unused; I’d rather share it with others. https://freesound.org/people/inspire153/sounds/754554/ |
