Excellent recording... impressive for an MBox. What'd you use on the kick drum?

New CD is Out
 

Hey Roy, hey guys. Sorry to have been a stranger around here so long (to say I've been busy this past year doesn't begin to cover it, LOL).

The new CD, Reality Show, was released last week. All done with a Digi 001 once again, with the addition of a PC laptop for various softsynths (NI Kontakt and the PPG Wave 2.V being the most dominant ones). Those who might remember my last disc will recognize the rather hyper bass playing, but I've brought a pretty strong techno/electronica/industrial influence into this one.

Darney, I'm assuming you're talking about Hurting Kind. If not, I feel like an idiot for replying to this.
I think the kick was two kicks from Reason's Factory sound bank blended together then sent through an 1176 plug-in to tighten it up and get it popping. Vocals are probably due to the singer rather than the equipment or recording technique.

'Slipped on Heaven'.....beautiful song...nice sounds. I recognized the 'Alien Nation' music, but see you changed the title...(was 'Cover my face at night', right?)...good stuff, as usual.
