I'm only getting about a verse of the new song on download (sounds good though)...just about 686kb of it, or around there. Is it set up that way?

I'm glad you like it. Did you find it to be cpu intensive? I am sure your computer is faster than mine, I have a 900mhz pent with 512mb of sdram. Some of the new apps (BFD, for ex.) require at least a gighertz so that's my issue.

Guit4Brains, actually now I listen to Deception again, I don't find it cold anymore.
I think it's when I listened Res first, then the opening of Deception sounded a bit brittle to me.
But I don't get that impression now.

I wasn't checking CPU while I was using Ambience, but with several other plugs going, there was no problem at all. As the production gets bigger, we'll see, but so far so good. My CPU is 1.4ghz but there have been times when that wasn't enough...I'm amazed that I used to get so much out of my first pc, at only 700mhz...

I dig it roger... Very ole school sound style. Like the distance in the guitars. Very gloomy tune! Hence the name I guess.
