Cdev Digi and unable to save?
 

Hi,

I've been a long time away from the forums...

I'm using a PT5 on a TDM Mix system, exp chassis on Quicksilver G4 (maxed ram) with OS 9.2.2. This is a dedicated PT computer, nothing else happens on it.

I didn't use the system for a couple of months, then came back to it and I find that I can't save sessions, can't save plug-in presets and can't bounce to disk.

Sessions run well, auto backup works. I can do everything but the actions listed above.

In trying to troubleshoot this problem, I've found that I have no "Cdev Digi" control panel. The computer, Mac OS software and hard drives check out just fine with diagnostics.

Is this just a missing Cdev Digi impeding these functions? Or....?

HELP?!?! I need to get back to work...

Hi,

As your on OS9 i'm not sure how things run on that software, but if its similar to OSX then trashing prefs and trashing digi database files on all hard drive partitions is the first thing to do.

In OS9 the trashing prefs ( & Digi Setup file) is standard, and I've done it. But the old &/or TDM systems don't create all those digi database files like the newer ones. Fyi.
