Thanks Marc,

Yeah, the violinist was practically sitting in the pianist's lap. It was a small church and I could not get too close. The pews were about 3 ft away from the performers. I set a stereo pair off to the side so I could get violin on left and piano right about 20 feet away. That way I could not see anyone knocking over the mics.

I'm working a bit more on the mix to try to bring the violin up a bit more, or put the piano back a little, or a little of both. I will re-post when completed.

Thanks, Riad. I use Mbox and a 2.4 GHz AMD PC. I record guitar and vocals live, then dress it up with MIDI.
