Virtual Tape Machine
 

Hi

We just tried out Virtual Tape Machine from Slate, but now ProTools crashes when we open the projects we used it in because the trial license has expired. We have deleted every trace of the software, but still it is impossible to open the projects. What do we do?
We uses the last upgrade of ProTools 8.

We got this message from ProTools:
“Segmentation fault” in thread “MainThread” at adress 0x0

Try to open the session while holding SHIFT. Will open the session with all plug-ins inactive. Maybe that works.

Otherwise create a new session, use import session data. Import all tracks from the 'faulty' session, untick plug in assignments before importing your tracks.
