hello, this is my first post. i have recently gotten a mbox with protools le and whenever i try to start PT i get a message that says

"Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click "OK" when the hardware is ready."

I have been looking for solutions to this problem but so far have been unsuccessful. also i am using windows 7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There must be more bugs than you can throw a stick at in this product. I love the funtionality and features.

However, I too had exactly the same issue...I used it last night...shut everything down in an orderly fashion and first thing this morning...same message as original poster....however, the first response in this post took me to the Avid site and I re installed the driver and now is fine...however, it should not be like this...I dont expect a reply..just venting
