Delay between PT starting and BFD starting

Hi

I've run some tests and there is a 25ms delay between me pressing start in PT and the Groove engine in BFD starting. This caused timing errors in the kit.

Has anyone else noticed this and come up with a solution

Would it be improved by adding more RAM

Nick

MAC Pro
2 Gb Ram
PT LE 7.3.1
Hard Drives 250 Gb x2 500 Gb x1
BFD2 (latest patches installed)

this would be appropriate maybe on the fxpansion forum, plus your on a mac, this is the pc section:-)

but......

looking at your specs, 2 gb of ram is quite low for pt and bfd 2. though i dont think it will completely fix the prob. also, are your samples on a dedicated drive?? have you experimented with your hw buffer settings and such??? how about your bfd engine settings?? maybe it is the slower fsb on your mac......:D j/k , i honestly have no probs with mine, so should be a fix, not a software glitch or anything. start here, maybe post at fxpansion, VERY helpful forum over there. quite a few pt users as well.
