Hello, I have the license of protools 10 and 11. With my Eleven Rack, but I have windows XP on my computer, can I download Pro Tools LE 8?, or it is not possible. If it possible how can I activate the software. Thanks

Be careful buying LE8 second hand. Since LE does NOT require an iLok, it uses 2 other means of authorization. First, it requires a valid authorization code(which starts with "DIGI08....."). Then, LE will not open unless it sees a compatible Avid interface(the Eleven rack covers that requirement).

LE-8 uses iLok1, need to connect interface via firewire for authentication :o

If the OP has a activation card already, and a suitable Digidesign/Avid interface and a computer running an old OS suitable to install Pro Tools 8 LE on then they can just download the software online. Links here http://secure.digidesign.com/service...rticleId=43353 |
