mono wav file -> stereo wav file

The other day I wanted to record my band live during practice and quickly setup a mic in the center of the room and did a quick and dirty mono track recording in PT. When I was done, I tried to drag that into I-tunes for CD burning, but I-tunes apparently doesn't like mono files (odd). So, the thought of bouncing this hour long file in real time is not pleasing, so is there some simple way to convert a mono wav file to a stereo wav file (both channels the same), either within PT or via an external (cheap or free) program?

Thanks in advance - blindmelon

Re: mono wav file -> stereo wav file

Hi,
Try this, select the file in the edit window and select export selected as file from the Audio menu at the top of the audio bin. If the file is not on the timeline you can also select it in the bin. When you export choose stereo as your format. It might increase in gain because it will be summed. You may want to try a small piece first to see. If it is to hot you can decrease the gain the normalize/gain Audiosuite plug-in. It will create a bunch of extra files you can get rid of later but it will be way faster than bouncing.
Thanks,
