Help ASAP!!!!! MacBook Pro not recognizing mbox mini 2

My mac book is not even recognizing my mbox. The light is not turning on or anything. I thought it was the cable and tried it my mbox on another computer but it worked on there so what could be wrong. I need help asap!!!

well, thats not a lot of info, but did that other computer have the same version of both OSX and PT ? And if yes, maybe some other third party driver got in the way.
