Video of My Custom PT Quickeys Key Command Shortcuts

As a long time user of Startly's Quickeys custom shortcut key commands program, I've built up a cool library of helpful tricks. Here's a two minute video showing some of them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loUWIGoonlI

If any of you like these, I can zip up my shortcut sets and email them to you. I also have a large collection of QK shortcuts assembled from other Pro Tools Quickeys users that I can include as well.

Important notes about the Quickeys shortcut sets that I can email to you:

1) because Avid is often changing the menus and the menu item names, these shortcuts may need manual adjustment before they work with your version of Pro Tools. However, once you study the programming behind each shortcut it will be easy to make the adjustments to work with your system.

2) The shortcuts in "the DUC user collection set" are mostly in Quickeys v3 format which will open up in QK v3 and v4.

3) The shortcuts in "the relaxo set" that I will email you are in Quickeys v4 format and programmed specifically for PTHD 10. software. I don't believe these will open up in Quickeys v3, but you can try. These are all of the shortcuts shown in the video above. You can easily make them work in your system if you have QK v4 and ANY version of PT, v8 or higher.

4) All of these shortcuts sets were made on a Mac. I do not know if they can be used on a PC.

That's pretty nifty, is that program available on PC? Since you're on mac, those on pc would probably have to do some editing to get the short cut working, but that's some great SC there.

I've been using Quickeys for many years now. Couldn't live without it. It really speeds up the workflow, and the possibilities are unlimited.
I highly recommend it to everybody, who uses PT on a daily basis.

Is there a Quickeys version for ML? Startly's web page says it's not for Lion or ML.

I know the website says so, but I have no issues with Quickeys 4 on 10.8.2.

Avid should get one of their guys on this since Pro Tools really needs QuicKeys for a lot of the functions I do

Does anyone else use Quickeys 4 on Mountain Lion? I´m just upgrading my HD3 PPC System to HDX and really need Quickeys all the time.

I use it on two different rigs, believe me, it's working. If you want you can drop by and see for yourself. I'm in the neighbourhood. ;)
