Testing Digi 96 i/o output vs Hedd-192 help

Hi,
I am trying to listen to my mix going to my control 24 for monitoring. I have it setup right now so Analog 1&2 go to my control 24. I also own a Hedd-192. I wanted to try listening to the converters going out of the Hedd-192 to my control 24. I want to be able to AB back and forth. The only way I was able to do this was to switch the output of the master fader from Analog 1&2 for the 96i/o to AES/EBU which goes to the Hedd-192. By the time I switch it there is a delay. I want to be able to go back and forth fast to hear the comparison. Anyone know how to do this. I tried 2 master faders but there is no mute on the master fader. I tried deleting the master fader but the audio will only route out the analog outputs of the 96 i/0
thanks

Not sure of your configuration.
Why not have 3&4 analog go to the C24.

Then you have multiple master faders control the analog/digital.
Assign the same bus to input both master faders.

The C24 has multiple inputs and use it to switch.
The problem there is that you will be hearing the C24 analog and not the quality of the D/A in either your outboard box or the 96 I/O.

The only real way to do that is to have a passive switch box connected directly to the input of your monitor amp and A/B the converters.

Hope this helps.
